5.12.1990 - Founding the society
“Neues Leben und gesünder Wohnen” e.V.
18 members signed the Vereinssatzung and registered the society.
x.x.1991 - Rent contracts with the WBF
The society signed one rent contract for the whole house with the “Wohnungsbaugenossenschaft Friedrichshain”
19.2.1992 - Constitution Update
The Vereinssatzung was extended to include:

actions in the neighbourhood: Consulting about rent, cultural events in the Kiez, Miet-Info-Laden

renovating the house in ecological ways by the residents

9.1998? - Samariter Strassenfest
..was (partially) organized by the society
1998 - 2000 - Chaos!
Almost all active members of the house left. The rent was not payed for more than one year, because nobody cared. The plenums were stopped, after … left and there were only Tekkno/Keta/Party people left. G. managed all the bureaucracy, but he stood alone: he tried to collect the rent from everybody by himself, but many people didnt pay..
It's said, there was a chance to buy the house from th WBF for a very low price, but the plenum did not decide for that. There was a fraction in the house, who wanted to keep on squatting (although the house was legal since ~8 years..) and fight and fuck the house up. why? who? true? no idea.
Rent prices 12.1999:

Rent of all 13 flats together: 4994,51 DM (5,19DM/qm)

Sidehouse flat 45qm: 135DM = ~65€!!

The small Gewerbe (Itowe now) was LOTEC: free computer help, workshops and networking by 5 people of the house and some others.
Old computers were used to create a linux network with one centralized server and very old and slow machines as "thin clients", which get "served" by the only one faster server-machine. This worked good and some people came along to get information about free software, the free linux operating system and computer recycling.
SamaCafe was owned by the house society and people of the house made many freetekkno parties and orgnaized most evenings. The Sama-Keller was famous: you had to enter with a ladder into the window-schacht and there was a bar and two dancefloors.
17.5.2000 - Vorstand Change
The Vorstand of house members, who lived in Sama for long steps back from Vorstand.
Many society members have left the house and there is practially no active person left.
4 young society members enter the Vorstand to -at least - keep the buerocratic society alive and restore plenum meetings and common actions.
The society has 18.000DM dept at Beil & Jahn and is about to get kicked out. The pro-squatting-fighting fraction is not existent anymore, but very much fluctuation by travelers in the house. There are no structures, but the plenum gets re-started to avoid eviction.
K. convinced some others of the urge to deal with Beil & Jahn or the eviction. A small group went to lawyer Heusinger and got in contact with Beil & Jahn to talk about payments, renovation and new contracts.
Ines took care of the bureaucracy and we made a new list of all people living here and restarted Georgs work, who left the house very frustrated ca. in 1999.
There was big stress during these months, because some people did not want to re-start to pay rent. The plenum decided to kick one group (of spanish guys) out(?) and in the end there was a physical fight in 1.floor. Later that day, they threw all their furniture out of the windows on the street and left under protest………..

Belegungsrecht, etc fixed.
Each flat(person?) gets ca. 3000DM to move to Rigaer 79 for one year. We pay the dept with that money. Everybody (really?) joined!
2000 - 2001 - Umzug -> R79, Sanierung, Rückzug -> S32
